Oded Fehr has been cast as Jafar on Once Upon A Time:

More additions from the Land of Untold Stories were announced during Once Upon a Time’s Comic-Con panel on Saturday.

Deniz Akdeniz (Graceland) has been tapped to play Aladdin — who was described as “the savior” — while Oded Fehr (Covert Affairs) will play Jafar. (Lost’s Naveen Andrews previously portrayed Jafar on Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.) The duo joins the previously cast Giles Matthey as Morpheus and Craig Horner as the Count of Monte Cristo.

From the preview clip shown below, things aren’t looking so good for Aladdin. As Jafar says, “That’s why you never, ever hear these words about a savior: ‘They live happily ever after.’”

We won’t be seeing Oded Fehr in Marvel’s Most Wanted – ABC didn’t pick it up to series 🙁

With a new management having taken over earlier this year, they’re establishing what they’re going to do going forward with some projects from related company Marvel TV as they’ve given the axe to Agent Carter and passing on the pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted. Agents of SHIELD previously got a renewal for the fourth season so that show is safe. Fans of Hayley Atwell won’t be too surprised this as she had a position in a new ABC drama series called Conviction which did get a pickup as the network wanted to treat her right since she’s been a great player for the Disney family for some time now.

With the pilot for Most Wanted, it got mixed reviews from those presiding over its fate and was passed over in favor of other more solidly choices in this view. Now we’ll wait and see if the two main actors are brought back into Agents of SHIELD after departing recently from there for the pilot.

Interestingly, this leaves no “bridge” show between Agents of SHIELD with its two halves, which means we could have quite the gap.

Agent Carter starred Hayley Atwell with recent confirms of James D’Arcy, Dominic Cooper and Enver Gjokaj as coming back and others being finalized.

Agent Carter Concept: Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

Marvel’s Most Wanted starred announced Adrianne Palicki, Nick Blood, Oded Fehr and Delroy Lindo as the announced actors.

The show was created and written by S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski who executive produce with Jeph Loeb for Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

Most Wanted Concept: Centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. These two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.

Oded Fehr has joined the cast of ABC’s Marvel Most Wanted pilot, SpoilerTV has learned. He joins Delroy Lindo, whose casting was announced earlier. The details of his character have not been revealed by Marvel and ABC. Additionally, actress Fernanda Andrade has also joined the pilot in an undisclosed role.

Marvel’s Most Wanted follows Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter as two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Able to trust no one but each other, Bobbi and Hunter form an uneasy alliance with Dominic Fortune, a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries, who agrees to protect them so long as they help him with his own agenda. While on dangerous missions that take them to every corner of the globe these two heroes will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.

According to Mozhan Marno ‏at Twitter, Oded Fehr was in this week’s episode of The Blacklist. Thanks to Desert_Rose14 at the forum for the heads-up! 🙂 I’ll cap it ASAP but I’m going away for Friday through at least Monday, so it’ll be sometime next week.

Edit to add: also seems our theme is showing some errors. I’ll fix this too when I get back!

Yay, Oded’s been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming ABC tv series Stitchers:

ABC Family’s first-ever procedural drama “Stitchers” has cast “Covert Affairs” alum Oded Fehr in a recurring guest role.

The hourlong crime series, which began production this January, will star Emma Ishta (“Manhattan Love Story”), Kyle Harris (“The Carrie Diaries”), Allison Scagliotti (Syfy’s “Warehouse 13″), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Syfy’s “Eureka,” “I Am Legend”) and Ritesh Rajan (“The Last Airbender”).

The original drama follows a young woman (Ishta) who is recruited into a secret government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and help solve mysteries before they go to the grave.

Fehr will play Leslie Turner, the enigmatic head of the covert stitchers program. His character will be introduced in the middle of the season.

“Stitchers” premieres this summer on ABC Family.
